Who we are

Degner Construction Incorporated is a municipal infrastructure contractor based at 27575 Ellis Road, Acheson, Alberta. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to send us:

• Contact and quote forms: your name, email address, phone number if you include it, and your message.
• Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, the position you are applying for, your resume, and your cover letter if you include one.
• Email and phone: anything you send us directly.

Our web host and visit counter also record basic details such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view, to keep the site secure and see which pages are used.

Our website is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

How we use and share it

We use your information to answer your question, prepare a quote, or review your application. We do not sell, rent or trade it, and we do not use it for marketing. We only share it:

• with the companies that run our website, forms and email for us, who may only use it to provide those services;
• with the references or past employers you list on a job application, when we check them;
• when the law requires it.

Some of these service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies

Our website does not set cookies. Links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Keeping it safe

Only the people at Degner who need your information can see it, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. We keep messages as long as we need them to deal with your request. If we do not hire you, we delete your application within 12 months.

No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as your Social Insurance Number through the site.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@degner.ca and we will reply within 45 days, as PIPA requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Copyright and trademarks

The content on this website, including text, photos, videos, and the Degner name and logo, belongs to Degner Construction Incorporated or is used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse it without our written permission. If you believe something on this site uses your work without permission, email info@degner.ca and we will look into it.
